Community Chipping Day – Poway NEC & FSC

Community Chipping Day

The Poway Neighborhood Emergency Corps and Fire Safe Council is hosting a free community chipping event on Saturday August 12th from 9AM to 1PM. Don’t worry about overfilling your green bins and instead bring your cut branches, bushes, and other vegetation to be chipped and disposed of.

Get your defensible space done now before fire season is upon us. If you aren’t sure of the defensible space requirements for your area please contact the Poway Fire Department at 858-668-4460. A brush clearing permit may be required.
