National Night Out promotes community building between residents and local law enforcement. It is a fun family friendly night with demonstrations by the SWAT team, Search & Rescue Team and more. Be sure to bring the kids to enjoy patrol vehicles and fire trucks up close! Poway’s Senior Volunteer Patrol will offer child fingerprinting and you’ll be able to pick up disaster preparedness information from Poway’s CERT team and Poway Neighborhood Emergency Corp. To top it off there will be free food and drinks compliments of Target. It’s next Tuesday August 7 from 4-7 pm at 13100 Bowron Rd, Poway. If nothing else, come just to say thanks to the folks who keep us safe!!
Quarterly Neighborhood Coordinator and Ham Operator meeting this week. This meeting is specifically for these two groups to come together for the purpose of strengthening communication relationships in order to find the gaps and holes and test the communication network within our neighborhoods!
